Lipids in Human Pathology is proud to annouce that the ERANET proposal, AMBROSIA, wherein we participate as collaborators has been selected for funding.
The project will be coordinated by Dr. Amedeo Amedei of the University of Florence (Italy) and participated by Dr. Iain Brownlee of the University of Northumbria (UK), Dr. Marco García-Vaquero of the University College Dublin (Ireland), and two SMEs,
Synbiotec (Italy) and Genevention (Germany).

Mr. Karim Pérez-Romero and Dr. Alice Chaplin has been granted with a PFIS-contract (for PhD investigators) and a "Sara Borrell" contract (for postdoc investigators), respectively. In addition to the good news at the personal level, it is an important achievement for Lipids, as this is the first time that we, as group, obtain such contracts in National Calls.
